The Ringed City est le second DLC de Dark Souls III. Il a été annoncé par Bandai Namco le 23 janvier 2017. Les développeurs conseillent aux joueurs de se rendre dans le DLC qu'après avoir fini le Château de Lothric.
- Le 21 avril 2013, Dark Souls III sortira dans une édition complète, "The Fire Fades", qui comprendra le jeu de base et les deux DLC.
- Ce DLC est sorti le 28 mars 2017 sur tous les supports disponibles (PC, PS4, Xbox One), au prix 14.99 € / inclus dans le Season Pass à 24.99 €.
- Le 15 mars, des nouveautés concernant les mots de passe et le matchmaking ont été faits (Article)

Comment accéder au DLC The Ringed City
- Pour accéder à ce DLC, vous pouvez :
- Voyager jusqu'au Kiln de la Première flamme et y trouver un nouveau feu juste avant l'arène du Boss, qui vous transportera dans le DLC.
- Voyager dans l'arène du Boss Soeur Friede, du premier DLC Ashes of Ariandel, et y trouver également un nouveau feu.
- Cette zone est recommandée aux joueurs avec un niveau 100 ou supérieur
"Montrez votre humanité" : Solution

Nouvelles zones PVP & Mots de passe
The new arenas will be available on the 24th for Ashes of Ariandel and Season Pass owners or on release day if you are planning to pick up The Ringed City alone. As long as you can access the Undead Match, you can access every arena map. Videos of the arenas are available on the Hollow Arena page.
Password Matchmacking
The password matchmaking in the arena allows for a variety of customizations. You can set a password to allow for matching with friendly team only and the enemy team is matched with another, or you can have everyone use the same password and finally you can select which team to be a part of. This should make coordination with friends a lot more user friendly.
New Hollow Arena maps: Dragon Ruins and Grand Roof, that can be accessed whether you own only Ashes of Ariandel, The Ringed City, or both. - The Chaos Fire itself is a curved sword as it transforms into a sword shape. It could be a weapon to be used as a sword or simultaneously, as pyromancy.
- Clothes that were worn during the age of Gods. Also very rare to see armor for women. With an elegant touch of fashion, only people from the royal family were able to wear this armor.

- A creature which is similar to Pilgrim Pupa. Corpses have grown under the creature, as it raises it's head to the red sky, looking down upon the angels. Its name is Stone-humped Hag.
- Under the soft light of sun set, a woman sleeps everlastingly. Covered by overly grown bacillus, she is holding a half cracked shell. Her name is Filianore – her sleep is meant for the sake of others.
